An audio file format is a file format for storing digital audio data on a computer system.

There are three main groups of audio file formats:

Uncompressed audio formats - like WAV, AIFF, AU or raw header-less PCM; Note WAV can alternatively use compression.
Formats with lossless compression - for instance FLAC, Monkey's Audio (filename extension .ape), WavPack (filename extension .wv), TTA, ATRAC Advanced Lossless, ALAC, MPEG-4 SLS, MPEG-4 ALS, MPEG-4 DST, Windows Media Audio Lossless (WMA Lossless), and Shorten (SHN).

WAV (16bit)- (extra fee) Standard audio file container format used mainly in Windows PCs. A WAV is lossless, so it will preserve all the details and quality of your original source file.
HD WAV (24bit)- (extra fee) The difference between 16bit and 24bit is how much of the original audio information is contained in the file. If you opt for our 24bit HD WAV file, you’ll retain that sample rate from the original file.

HD WAV (24bit) - For an extra fee of $49, we can deliver your lossless WAV file link to your email. You can click on the download link in the email. Alternatively we can also *ship a USB drive to you with your custom song professionally produced and derived from the original master recording.
